May News

Dear Parents and Guardians,

May Mary, our dear Blessed Mother shelter us with her love and guidance!

During this beautiful month of May, we honor her through classroom devotions, reciting the Rosary, stories from the ABC’s of Mary, bulletin boards, and especially at our School Mass and May Crowning on May 10 at 9:00 A.M. We hope through all of these prayerful encounters to thank her for her motherly protection and to beg Our Lady to bring the peace of her Son, Jesus, to our hearts, our homes, and our world.

In addition, May has already brought the happy occasion of First Holy Communion for many of our students on Sunday, May 6. We congratulate them and ask for God’s choicest blessings upon each one and their families and teachers. The simplicity of these precious children of God is such an inspiration to all of us.

What a joyful celebration we also experienced at our School Farewell/Alumni Weekend on April 28 and 29! Literally hundreds came to show their gratitude for “99 Years of Blessings” here at our phenomenal school. During Mass and while sharing friendships, fond memories, and touring the classrooms for one last time, it was a unanimous decision that “Inky” will always be THE BEST.

As we say “good-bye” we also look forward to a new beginning at St. Helena-Incarnation Regional Catholic School. We are likewise very pleased to announce that the following teachers will be traveling up 5th Street to be part of the Faculty there for September 2012.

  • Mr. Ralph Ciarroco-Grade 8
  • Mr. John McGrath- Grade 7
  • Ms. Shannon Kaminski-Grade 6
  • Mr. Terry Peach- Grade 5
  • Mrs. Kimberly Nobili-Grade 4
  • Ms. Laura Thomer- Grade 2
  • Ms. Melissa Whitfield-Resource Room

Our children have been SOOOO BLESSED by the dedication and devotion of each one of our teachers and staff members. They are generous and gifted beyond description.

If you have not registered as of this date, please register your child/children for our new Regional School as soon as possible.

Thank you again for the many sacrifices you make in providing a Catholic Education for your children.

God bless you. Happy Mother’s Day to all of our terrific Moms and Grandmoms.

In Mary,
Lovingly,
Sister Mary Anne Sweeney, IHM
